What does WIC stand for?
WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children

Where do I get information on restaurant inspections?

The Volusia County Health Department does not do restaurant inspections.  They are done by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation:

Does the Volusia County Health department provide the vaccine for shingles?
Yes, the Volusia County Health Department does provide the vaccine. The cost is approximately $170.

Does the Volusia County Health Department accept credit cards?
Yes we do, both credit and debit.  Credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.  We also accept debit cards but with the Visa or Mastercard logos only.

I submitted an email to this website, but I never got an answer. Why?
Many times when we send a reply to an email inquiry, the email is returned as undeliverable because either the webmaster email account is being blocked as spam by the requesters email provider, or the requesters email address can not be found.

Where can we get travel shots?
The Volusia County Health Departments offers immunizations for International Travel at our Deltona, New Smyrna and Orange City Clinics. Click here for more information.
